As a student of Marketing post degree diploma at Douglas College in New Westminster, BC, I got an opportunity to intern as a Social Media Specialist with Blue Lotus Immigration Consulting Inc. Richmond BC from May to August 2023. It has been an extremely rewarding experience. Spending 13 weeks under the guidance of Dr. Neelu Kang, a phenomenal mentor, I was able to apply the knowledge that I gained during my studies. I was able to learn to create written and visual content and mange different social media platforms in a marketing perspective. I have learned about different possible immigration paths and what it will take to get there. I am very confident now to enter the workforce. This experience was very valuable!
