Temporary Resident Visa or e.TA/Visitor Visa

If you want to visit Canada, meet your family, friends, or relatives, attend a wedding or graduate ceremony of your ward, make exploratory visit with potential future business or want to experience undeniable beauty of Canadian landscape, you can apply for Temporary Resident Visa and/or e.TA (depending upon which country you are coming from) except US citizens. To get a visitor visa your intention should be only to visit Canada and return back to your home country after the permitted time. You should have enough money to support your stay in Canada. If a TRV is required, please be advised that there is a rigorous screening process and there is a high rate of refusal when individuals apply on their own.

Study Permit/Visa

If you want to visit Canada, to study or work OR to meet your family, friends, or relatives, attend a wedding or graduate ceremony of your ward, make exploratory visit with potential future business or want to experience undeniable beauty  of Canadian landscape, you can apply for Temporary Resident Visa and/or e.TA (depending upon which country you are coming from) except US citizens. To get a TRV/e.TA, popularly known as visitor visa, your intention should be just to visit Canada and return back to your home country after the permitted time. You should have enough money to support your stay  in Canada. If a TRV is required, please be advised that there is a rigorous screening process and there is a high rate of refusal when individuals apply on their own.

Work Permit/ Visa

Every year, millions of people join Canadian labour market to enjoy the benefits that Canada has to offer. If your goal is to work in Canada, and If you are able to get a job offer, you will need a work permit. This may open the doors to future permanent residence in Canada depending on the nature and duration of your occupation in Canada.

a) LMIA work permit: In order to obtain a Work Permit, you will require a Labor Market Impact Assessment along with a job offer. LMIA will be obtained by your employer through an application submitted to ESDC.  We can help the employer apply for a positive LMIA to recruit foreign workers.
b) LMIA exempt work permit: Some works can be LMIA exempt if the work is socially culturally and economically significant and beneficial. Entrepreneurs and self employed persons, intra company transferees, charitable and religious workers, and workers under international agreements, like USMCA do not need LMIA.
c) working holiday:

International Experience Canada (IEC) provides youth with the opportunity to travel and work in Canada. If you’re eligible, you’ll be placed into one or more pools of International Experience Canada (IEC) candidates. To participate:

  • your country or territory of citizenship must have an agreement with Canada that allows you to apply for an IEC work permit or
  • you may be able to use a recognized organization (RO)
  • You must also meet the eligibility requirements for your country or territory of citizenship and the pool you’re applying for.

Some countries allow you to participate only once. Others allow you to participate twice, but in different pools. Because each country is different, make sure you contact us to understand your eligibility and all the requirements before submitting an application.

 

Business Visitor Visa

Business Visitor Visa: Canadian government created the Business Persons and Business Delegations Visa.

The Canada business visa allows those who want to go to Canada with the purposes of doing business with a Canadian company to enter the country and to attend meetings, participate in conferences or workshops or sign business agreements, etc.

The Business Persons and Business Delegations Visa is a temporary visa, which means that the person who holds it can only stay in Canada for a short period of time, usually less than 6 months. Additionally, the person with this visa is not allowed to work for any company in Canada.They are only allowed to discuss business and sign any potential agreements. With the Business Persons Visa, you are also not allowed to benefit from Canadian health coverage or apply to get Canadian documents.

Super Visa

A great way to bring parents or grand parents to Canada is through the Super Visa program, especially If you do not qualify for it because you do not meet the LICO (Lower Income Cut Off) for the 3 year period., as the income required is only for one year and it is about 30% lower.  This program allows family members to come to Canada as long-term visitors on a multiple entry visa that may last up to 10 years. A Super Visa is valid for 2 years before it has to be renewed. 

To be eligible for a Super Visa, the sponsor must 

  • meet the LICO requirement
  • provide the most recent Canadian tax return (Notice of assessment) where line 150 meets or exceeds LICO amount.
  • Purchase Canadian healthcare insurance of $100,000 coverage for at least one year, approximately $2,000 – $3,000 CAD per year.
  • Complete a medical examination
  • provide a written commitment of financial support from the Sponsor (child or grandchild).
